  • Several years of professional (non-internship) software development experience

A day in the life
As an SDE in Pyxis you will be working alongside some of the brightest engineers in the company responsible for developing and supporting some of our biggest internal and external tools. You will get exposure to many different technologies and Greenfield Software projects enabling you to input in the design of brand new tools.

Our work is extremely varied and often includes breaking ground on new ways of working for the whole company. Our backlog covers a number of different projects at any one time and employ agile methods to remain obsessed with our customers.

About the team
We are building the Pyxis UK Dev team to work on complex problems and develop novel solutions. As a new and growing team we work we have autonomy to define ourselves both in terms of technology and ways of working. We are heavily invested in developing a cohesive team that adapts with input from everyone.

  • Design and familiarity with noSQL databases like DynamoDB or MongoDB, DynamoDB is preferred.
  • Experience mentoring and training the engineering community on complex technical issues

Any combination of:
  • Experience in building complex software systems, especially services
  • Experience building on top of AWS
  • Passion for software development tools and development process automation
  • Front-end development
